Abstract
¿Es la música una creación humana? Yo digo que lo es. Aun cuando no quedan vestigios de su origen–puesto que inicialmente fue utilizado el cuerpo humano como el instrumento de producción musical-, se estima que su invención se remonta al hombre pre-histórico.
La música, como una de tantas otras prácticas, es una asignación de orden, en este caso, al universo de sonidos posibles, - al menos a la escucha humana-. Seguramente con el devenir de la historia, y los procesos de formalización a los que sucumbe toda actividad social, surgió el sistema de notación musical y las reglas de distinción entre sus géneros: Clásica, barroca, folk, jazz, rock, entre otras.
