Trastornos cognitivos en el sÃndrome de Ehlers-Danlos.
Abstract

Abstract
This paper describes some problems into the cognitive sphere frequently presented by people with the Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. The clinical experience in the neuropsychological assessment of higher cerebral functions in these patients has allowed us to reveal a certain number of cognitive functional disorders, especially in attention, memory and spatial cognition. Deficiencies in the cognitive area limit significantly the daily activities of those affected. Thus, the evaluation of these functions and the identification of factors that aggravate and/or cause cognitive impairments (fatigue, pain, depression, anxiety, etc.) must be taken into account in the management of this syndrome.
