Más que “dibujitosâ€; La importancia de la comunicación visual

Las imágenes no sólo nos facilitan el entender y/o explicar conceptos, sino que nos ayudan a conocer y aprender sobre diversos temas: para niños y jóvenes con déficit cognitivo el uso de imágenes es esencial para lograr avances en su educación y desarrollo; estudiantes de medicina emplean ilustraciones, como las encontradas en el “Atlas de AnatomÃa Humana†para ayudarse a conocer cada parte que compone el cuerpo humano; los primeros investigadores usaron dibujos e ilustraciones con el fin de registrar y mostrar a otros aquello que estaban descubriendo; geógrafos emplean ilustraciones para ubicar cada paÃs y región dentro del mapa y aunque no sean 100% precisos cumplen con el propósito de determinar la ubicación y lÃmites de cada una de los naciones.
