El Trastorno de Ansiedad Social (TAS), también conocido como Fobia Social, es reconocido hoy en dÃa como una condición psiquiátrica crónica e incapacitante. La alta prevalencia y la significancia clÃnica de la enfermedad, enfatizan la necesidad de
reconocimiento temprano y de tratamiento eficaz. El objetivo de este trabajo es exponer los principales tratamientos existentes, poniendo atención a las investigaciones y estudios meta-analÃticos que intentan diferenciar los distintos tipos de intervención en relación a su eficacia.

Abstract
Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD), also known as Social Phobia, is now recognised as a chronic and disabling psychiatric condition. The high prevalence and clinical significance of the disease emphasize the need for early recognition and effective treatment. The main current treatment will be presented paying special attention to meta-analyses and studies, which try to differentiate types of interventions, by their efficacy.
