Abstract

Psicólogo, neuropsicólogo, docente universitario, investigador y escritor. Nació en el municipio de Ocaña en el departamento de Norte de Santander, en nuestro vecino país de Colombia, el 4 de septiembre de 1946. Fue el tercer hijo de cinco hermanos, de una familia conservadora. Vivió en los Estados Unidos desde 1993 donde falleció a la edad de 74 años, el pasado 9 de enero de 2021, por dificultades producidas por el cáncer tras mucho esfuerzo en su tratamiento. Se casó con la reconocida psicóloga Mónica Rosselli Cock, con quien realizó aportes muy importantes a la neuropsicología. Tuvo cuatro hijos: Sara Elena, Silvia, Adriana y Felipe. Era hermano del famoso psicólogo Rubén Ardila y del prestigioso endocrinólogo Enrique Ardila.
