La parentalidad positiva y los elogios de cuidadores primarios hacia infantes en el contexto de pandemia por covid-19.
Abstract
R E S U M E N
La parentalidad positiva comprende las competencias de los/las cuidadores/as primarios de brindar afecto y garantizar la seguridad del niño/a, lo cual favorece el desarrollo integral del infante. Asimismo, los elogios son devoluciones positivas de los padres hacia lo que el niño/a realiza, repercutiendo en las conductas del mismo. A partir de la influencia de las prácticas de crianza en la salud mental de las familias, es relevante estudiar la relación entre la Parentalidad Positiva (Escala de Parentalidad Positiva; EP2) y los Elogios (Escala de Elogios) en cuidadores primarios latinoamericanos de niños/as de 0 a 36 meses, especÃficamente durante la pandemia por COVID-19. Se encontró una asociación positiva entre elogios, parentalidad positiva y la edad del infante. Durante el contexto de ASPO se halló que el 53,1% de los/las cuidadores/as primarios se encuentran entre la zona de riesgo y de monitoreo en lo que respecta a la parentalidad. A partir de esto, se podrÃan emplear polÃticas para fomentar el uso de elogios favorables y competencias parentales especialmente ante la pandemia por COVID-19.

Positive parenting comprises the primary caregivers' competencies to provide affection and guarantee the child's safety, which favors the integral development of the infant. In relation to this, praise is positive feedback from the parents towards what the child does, having an impact on the child's behaviors Based on the influence of parenting practices on the mental health of families, it is relevant to study the relationship between Positive Parenting (Positive Parenting Scale; EP2) and Praise (Praise Scale) in Latin American primary caregivers of children. as from 0 to 36 months, specifically during the COVID-19 pandemic. A positive association was found between praise, positive parenting and the age of the infant. During the context of ASPO, it was found that 53.1% of primary caregivers are between the risk and monitoring zone with regard to parenting. From this, policies could be used to encourage the use of favorable praise and parenting skills, especially in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Além disso, os elogios são devoluções positivas dos pais ao que a criança realiza, repercutindo nos comportamentos da mesma. A partir da influÊncia das práticas de criação na saúde mental das famÃlias, torna-se relevante estudar a relação entre a Parentalidade Positiva (Escala de Parentalidade Positiva; EP 2) e os Elogios (Escala de Elogios) em cuidadores primários latinoamericanos de crianças de 0 a 36 meses de idade, especificamente durante a pandemia de COVID-19. Foi encontrada uma correlação positiva entre elogios, parentalidade positiva e a idade da criança. Durante o contexto de quarentena*, encontrou-se que 53,1% das/dos cuidadores/as primários se encontram entre a zona de risco e o monitoramento no que se refere à parentalidade. A partir disto, poderiam ser implementadas polÃtias para fomentar o uso de elogios favoráveis e competência parentais especialmente diante da pandemia por COVID-19.
